Meet Our Team
Dr. Caroline Cofer, DVM
Dr. Caroline Cofer is the founder of Pet’s Favorite Vet and a lover of all pets and their people! She knew she wanted to be a vet since she first tagged along to her Golden Retriever’s check-up when she was four years old. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Dr. Caroline attended the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) for her Bachelor’s and Veterinary degrees and the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL, for her acupuncture training.
She came to the upstate when she met a boy, Joseph, who is now her wonderful husband. They have a son named Asher and live in a swirl of joyful chaos with four dogs, one cat, one tortoise, one axolotl, and several fish. In her time off, Dr. Caroline can be found cooking up a storm, swaying off-beat to live music, playing in the woods, or working on her converted school bus camper.
Dr. Mary Tricia White, DVM
Dr. White is a small animal veterinarian with roots in South Georgia. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. In addition to helping your pets, she loves spending time with her girls and has excellent taste in music. Her special interests in medicine include feline medicine, nutrition, and geriatric care.
Dr. Dave Caldwell, DVM
Dr. Dave is our newest addition to the veterinary team. He moved here with his wife for excellent trail riding and spends most of his free time outside with his dogs and horses. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and has experience in emergency and general practice medicine.
Teresa Lewin
Teresa came to Pet’s Favorite Vet looking for a happier work environment after a career working in manufacturing offices and teaching. She’s found it here and loves working with everyone’s puppies and kitties! At home, she enjoys the company of her corgis and kitties.
Skye Mullins
Skye was born and raised in the Upstate area, coming from a farm with various species that helped guide her to her deep-rooted passion for animals. Skye loves to say “She didn’t choose the passion, the passion and drive for animals chose her.” She has experience in general practice and emergency practice. Skye has 2 dogs (Koda and Keeko), 2 cats (Cheddar and Mischa), and a beautiful son. She loves binge-watching Netflix when time allows and seeing family and friends. Skye looks forward to the future at Pet’s Favorite Vet and is excited to take care of your fur babies.
Krysta Cook
Krysta joins us after working as a 911 dispatcher. Nothing ruffles her feathers! Krysta takes great joy in greeting patients when they come in and getting to know their people. She is the loving cat lady of her neighborhood and has a few dogs, too!
