Boiling Springs, SC Veterinary Externship Program

Pet’s Favorite Play Place in Boiling Springs, SC is currently offering 2-4 week small animal externships to fourth year veterinary students. Externships are offered year round, depending on our veterinarian’s availability.

As an extern, you will have an opportunity to work alongside our doctors for an average of 40 hours per week. Our thriving, Fear Free Certified Practice allows our externs to see Fear Free work in action! You will have an opportunity to see a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Externship students are expected to participate in patient care including discussion of appropriate diagnostic and therapeutics plans and select hands-on procedures.

Applicants must be able to provide a letter of good standing from your academic institution, and proof of health insurance coverage. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to offer liability coverage; however, we are able to provide housing for most dates, and a stipend is included when allowed by your university.
